Purchases And Restore
Heartwood uses Apple in-app purchases and RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement status. If a purchase does not appear, open the in-app paywall or profile screen and use Restore Purchases. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID settings.
Health, Notifications, And Photos
Step rewards are optional and use HealthKit step count on device after permission is granted. Garden Walk verification also reads walking-speed samples during an active walk; when those samples are sparse, Heartwood uses step count as a fallback. Care reminders use local notifications. Time-lapse videos are saved to Photos only when you choose Save to Photos.
