Tightlines Terms of Use
Effective date: September 9, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Tightlines: Fly Fishing AI, provided by Laird Labs.
Use Of The App
Tightlines helps anglers log catches, organize trips, review conditions, receive recommendations, and create voice journals. You are responsible for using the app safely, following local laws, and respecting private property, water access rules, fishing regulations, and seasonal closures.
Subscriptions
Tightlines Premium is available as an auto-renewable subscription. A free trial may be offered. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subscriptions automatically renew and payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.
Data And Backups
Core account-free logs are stored on your device, although online searches, conditions, recommendations, updates, and diagnostics may contact the providers described in the Privacy Policy. Cloud Backup supports manual backup and may also back up new catches quietly over Wi-Fi for signed-in Premium accounts. It is a backup and restore feature, not continuous multi-device sync.
Recommendations And Conditions
Weather, water, tide, streamflow, fly, and fishing recommendations are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Do not rely on the app as your only source for safety, navigation, legal, access, or emergency decisions.
Account Deletion
You can delete your signed-in Tightlines account from Settings. Account deletion removes associated Tightlines cloud data but does not cancel an active subscription through Apple or Google.
Standard Store Terms
Where applicable, your purchase and subscription are also governed by the Apple App Store or Google Play terms for your account and region. On Apple platforms, the app license is subject to the Apple Standard EULA.
